Indeed, we benefit from a competent team who will use their expertise and experience to offer your pet a pleasant stay in our boarding premises at the shelter. We will make sure that your pet feels the best and provide it everything it may need.

We offer you our services as a canine and feline boarding.
During its stay with us, your dog best friend will receive the highest level of care. It will get to enjoy walks alongside our volunteers in the gorgeous landscapes around the SPA de Haguenau & Environs. During winter, your dog will be protected from the cold thanks to our heated kennels.
Since we know cats are territorial creatures of habit which do not appreciate changes in routine, your companion will be at the heart of our attention. It will enjoy long moments of play surrounded by other companions, without mentioning many cuddling sessions given by our volunteers.
Unfortunately, we do not have the space to offer boarding services for all the requests we get, so we advise you to contact us as early as possible to check availability. If your plans have changed, please kindly give us a call to notify us of your withdrawal.
Rates and conditions of the boarding facility
In order to welcome your animal in our boarding facility at the SPA de Haguenau & Environs, you must own the current year’s membership card (20€).
DOGS BOARDING
12 € / day in summer
15 € / day in winter (heated kennels)
Preferential rate: 10 € / day if your dog has been adopted in our shelter
CATS BOARDING
9€ / day
Preferential rate: 7 € / day if your cat has been adopted in our shelter
Food is included in the price.
Your dog has to :
Be up to date with vaccines: kennel cough and CHPLR (distemper, contagious hepatitis, parvovirus, leptospirosis, rabies). Be microchipped.
Your cat has to :
Be vaccinated against typhus, coryza, rabies and leukosis. When the animal is brought in, it will be required to produce a valid vaccination certificate attesting that your cat is up to date in its vaccines. Be identified by microchip or tattoo. Be dewormed and treated against fleas for less than a month before the start of its stay. Be sterilised or neutered. Be over 6 months old.
The SPA de Haguenau & Environs may deny boarding accessibility to your furry friend if, upon arrival, it does not fully meet the admission conditions set out above. Unfortunately, our shelter won’t allow your animal for boarding if it is in convalescent, requires special care or has a specific diet.
Important information
Despite our strictly observed hygienic conditions, animals are not protected from possible collective pathologies. However, they remain rare and are in most cases individual.
In case of illness, injury or accident, our organisation undertakes to care for your pet, but declines all responsibility in the event of death. Veterinary treatment costs and travel costs are borne by the owner of the animal.
